Expertises
The lab of Radiopharmacy is equipped and has expertises to synthesise, purify and analyse organic compounds and radioactive compounds labelled with different radioisotopes (technetium-99m, radioiodine, gallium-68, indium-111, fluorine-18, carbon-11, …).
The lab of Radiopharmacy has also expertise in studying biodistribution of radiolabelled compounds in small animals (mice and rats).
In cooperation with the Nuclear Medicine department and the small animal imaging centre (Mosaic) the lab has expertise in performing microSPECT and microPET in vivo imaging of biodistribution and uptake studies of tracer agents in small animals
